Bawaal: Janhvi Kapoor Brings In Her Desi Flavour At Trailer Launch Event

'Bawaal' actor Varun Dhawan and actor Janhvi Kapoor were present for the trailer debut in Dubai. She added glitz to her appearance as she arrived at the event wearing a green sari with embroidered borders.

She wore a contrasting blue halter-neck top with it. She astounded everyone with her charm, elegance, and simplicity. She undoubtedly left her followers in amazement with her desi persona. Varun also looked sharp in a t-shirt that he paired with a pair of trousers.

The movie's trailer depicts a love tale with several obstacles and internal tensions that is set against the backdrop of World War 2. Ajay Dixit, a history teacher introduced as Ajju bhaiya and played by Varun Dhawan, has fabricated a persona for himself. The dialogue from the teaser features him stating, "Beta mahaul aisa banao ki logo ko mahaul yaad rahe, result nahi." However, he is compelled by circumstances to travel on the World War 2 trail in Europe with his newlywed bride Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor). They don't have a strong relationship and are both unhappy with one other in some way. Ajay is not pleased with her and even refers to her as a "defected piece" if Nisha believes that he is selfishly fabricating his fake image and doing so without need.

The trailer also has scenes from World War 2, and Adolf Hitler is mentioned. It draws a direct connection between the international war and the internal conflict. This love story, which was filmed in India and other foreign countries, seeks to convey a message while also highlighting the intricacies of interpersonal relationships and internal tensions.

Regarding his film, Varun stated, "Bawaal has been a tough road for me, but it has also been one of the most exhilarating and immensely gratifying ones too. It is a clear marker in my career. Despite his fame, Ajju is at odds with uncontrollable situations all the time. A character will always occupy a special place in my heart because it is so beautifully woven—literally, a bawaal inside and out. I am really eager for viewers from all around the world to see and enjoy this unusually lovely love story between Ajju and Nisha. I couldn't think of a better site to launch the advertisements for this international movie with an Indian heart than Dubai, which I consider to be a second home.

Varun revealed an intriguing detail about the largest "bawaal" of his life during the occasion. His pet dog Joey was referred to as his largest "bawaal".

"My dog Joey has to be it for me. He wakes up at six in the morning and Usne sabse zyada Bawaal kiya meri mere zindagi main (he has caused a lot of chaos in my life). Thus, regardless of when I go to bed, I must also wake up.

"Kabhi bhi susu kardega, potty kardega," he said. I become accustomed to cleaning this. I had no idea that I would end up acting, producing films, and doing all of this. It's the most firmly rooted experience my dog has ever given me.

"As actors, we play roles that are either created for us or ones that we adapt to," Janhvi continued. However, it's not often that we have the chance to play a desirable part that gives the actor more creative freedom. Nisha appears to be a straightforward young woman in this unusual romance story with goals and dreams, yet she is so lovable that you want to experience every sensation that she is going through. Nisha embarks on a journey in "Bawaal" that will force you to delve deeper into her life, her love, and everything else in between.

'Bawaal' is a love tale produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's production company Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in association with Ashwiny Iyer. It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor and will premiere on Prime Video from July 21, 2023.
