The movie, directed by Ajay, is an authentic remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's 2019 Tamil film ‘Kaithi’, which starred Karthi in the lead role. Returning to ‘Bholaa’, the movie's advance reservations started yesterday. Given that there are still 11 days till the release on March 30, it's an unusual decision. The Ajay Devgn-starring film is putting on an outstanding performance; in only a few hours, more than 1200 tickets, including IMAX and 4DX versions have been sold nationwide.
The producers' decision to use a blockbuster pricing approach is greatly benefiting ‘Bholaa’ . According to an update from last night, the movie grossed 7.05 lakhs in advance booking, including 4.25 lakhs for the IMAX 3D version.
This is an excellent performance thus far, and as the release date approaches, one anticipates ‘Bholaa’ to step up the pace.
