Bholaa: Ajay Devgn starts shooting for the Hindi remake of Kaithi
In 2020, it was announced that Ajay Devgn would star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi (2019). The superstar also confirmed the news on his Twitter handle. He wrote, "Yes, I’m doing the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi. The film will release on February 12, 2021." But the pandemic delayed the shoot and the possibility of release on schedule.
Now, after one year, the film has finally begun shooting on January 13th. The Hindi remake will be produced by SR Prakashbabu and Reliance Entertainment.
The film's title is now out, and it will be called Bholaa. The shoot began on Thursday morning. Given the COVID-19 situation in the country, the set will be operated on a minimum unit set. The actor was personally looking into the pre-production and scripting, and the film promised to be a masala entertainer.
Kaithi, released in 2019, was an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film starred Karthi, alongside Narain and Dheena. It is produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under the banner Vivekananda Pictures.
However, the release date of the film has not been announced yet, but it will be out soon, provided the COVID-19 restrictions don’t change in the country.
