Jacqueline Fernandez was also facing the same charges in a money laundering case. She never had been open about it in the past as her name was in the chargesheet, which was filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Rs 200 crores extortion case.
Jacqueline logged her statement right before the Patiala House Court in New Delhi yesterday. Her report states that Sukesh Chandrasekhar abandoned her career and livelihood. She mentioned that the conman Chandrasekhar introduced himself to her as the owner of Sun TV. He said that Tamil Nadu ex-Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is his aunt. Jacqueline Fernandez confessed that she got gifts from Sukesh Chandrasekhar, including 5 branded luxurious watches, 20 pieces of jewelry, a massage chair, clothes, bags, and others. He also promised to recommend her South Indian movies. After the controversy, Jacqueline Fernandez also lost her multiple films in Hindi and other languages.
