Bollywood actress Richa Chadha gets slammed by netizens. What’s happening?

Richa Chadha is a versatile actress from the film industry. She is mainly known for her intense acting career. She is vocal about her political and social issues as well. Recently she has been in the news because of her tweet. She posted a tweet reacting to the statement of Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi that the Indian Army is set to occupy Pakistan Occupied Kashmir back. The actress has referred to Galwan.

Richa had added a tweet, ‘Galwan Says Hi.’ Soon after her tweet, many tweeters started accusing her, and netizens slammed her for allegedly disrespecting the Indian Army by referencing it to the Galwan incident. Many of them have insulted her for having such a statement about the Indian Army mocking the Sacrifice of the Soldiers during the 2022 clash between India and China.

BJP’s Majinder Singh Sirsa says through his tweet that she should be ashamed of her courage and the tweet she did. His tweet was a “Disgraceful tweet. It should be withdrawn at the earliest. Insulting our armed forces is not justified (sic).”

Richa Chadha’s Tweet has started roaring on Twitter:-

Richa’s tweets have started raising uproar about the case all over Twitter. Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s statement was released to Defence Minister Rajnath Shinde’s previous address claiming that the Indian Army’s goal is to reclaim the Pakistan poccu[pied Kashmir now. He said India had just started the development journey in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Ther goal will be accomplished when they reach Gilgit and Baltistan.

Dwivedi has added a bit to this statement of the Minister, “As far as the Indian Army is concerned, it will carry out any order given by the Government of India. Whenever such orders are given, we will always be ready for it (sic).” He also added, “The military is always ready to make sure that ceasefire understanding is never broken as it is in the interest of both nations, but if broken at any time, we will give them a befitting reply (sic).”

This controversy of Richa has raised the sleeping hashtag opposite the Bollywood film industry. Such Boycott of Bollywood again started trending after such controversy.
