'Dangal,' starrer Aamir Khan, based on the Phogat sisters' wrestling career, yet did not respond to criticism.

For the uninitiated, celebrities like Priyanka, Aamir, SRK, and Parineeti Chopra have appeared in films about Indian athletes including 'Mary Kom,' 'Dangal,' 'Chakk De!,' 'Saina Nehwal,' and many others. 'Dangal' is actually based on the life of the Phogat sisters. Netizens are already criticising Bollywood for remaining silent on the national problem on social media.
