With their low-budget effects and illogical stories, these flicks have become known for their unintentional laughter, these movies failed to deliver a horror-thriller, leaving moviegoers more entertained than scared.

1. 'Khooni Panja' (1991)


'Khooni Panja' is a scary movie about a woman whose husband and lover kill her and then she comes back as an angry ghost with a bloody hand. Anil Dhawan, Jagdeep, Javed Khan, and Seema Vaz are in the movie. The movie is attacked for its cheap effects, cheesy dialogue, and scenes that don't make sense.

2. 'Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani' (2002)


The horror-fantasy movie 'Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani' is about a snake that can change its shape and gets revenge on a group of friends for a crime they didn't do. Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Manisha Koirala, and Armaan Kohli are just a few of the famous people who are in the movie. But the movie is a mess with bad CGI, too much action, and a story that doesn't make sense.

3. 'Agyaat' (2009)


In the horror movie 'Agyaat', a film crew gets lost in the woods and is being chased by an unknown creature. A lot of people know Ram Gopal Varma for making some of the best and worst scary movies in Bollywood. Gatam Rode, Ishrat Ali, Priyanka Kothari, and Nitin are in the movie. The movie is criticized for not having enough thrills, drama, or originality.

4. 'Kaalo' (2010)


The scary movie Kaalo is based on a story about a witch who lives in the Rajasthani desert and haunts people. The movie takes place in the present day, where a group of tourists run into the witch and have to fight off her attacks. Swini Khara, Aditya Srivastava, Paintal, and Sheela David are in the movie.

5. 'Aatma' (2013)


Aatma is a horror film that revolves around a mother who tries to protect her daughter from the evil spirit of her dead husband. The film stars Bipasha Basu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. The is criticized for its predictable plot, weak scares, and poor performances. The film also has a confusing ending that leaves the audience unsatisfied.

6. 'Ragini MMS 2' (2014)


Ragini MMS 2 is a horror-erotica film that is a sequel to the 2011 film Ragini MMS, which was a found footage film about a couple who are haunted by a ghost in a farmhouse. The sequel follows a film crew who decides to make a movie based on the incident, and hires a porn star to play the lead role. The film stars Sunny Leone, Saahil Prem, Parvin Dabas, and Sandhya Mridul. The film was ridiculed for its excessive sex scenes, weak plot, and laughable scares.

7. 'Lupt' (2018)


A supernatural horror film that follows a businessman who encounters a series of supernatural events after he purchases a new property. The film stars Javed Jaffrey, Vijay Raaz, and Karan Aanand.

8. 'Durgamati: The Myth' (2020)


A horror-thriller film that is a remake of the Telugu film Bhaagamathie (2018). The film follows an IAS officer who is sent to a haunted house to interrogate a woman who is possessed by a spirit. The film stars Bhumi Pednekar, Arshad Warsi, and Jisshu Sengupta.
