Bollywood movies are renowned for a variety of things, including its plotlines, song-and-dance routines, and of course, the actor combinations that occasionally even define entire decades of cinema. The lead couple in the movies has always been one of the key selling points of movies in India, whether it was Raj Kapoor and Nargis in the 1950s or SRK and Kajol in the 1990s. A handful of movies with previously unheard on-screen partnerships are scheduled for release in the future year. Let’s have a look at a few of them now.

SHRADDHA KAPOOR AND RANBIR KAPOOR

In the upcoming romantic comedy "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar," directed by Luv Ranjan, actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will appear together on screen for the first time. Ranjan just shared the couple's first appearance on social media via the movie's poster.

KATRINA KAIF AND VIJAY SETHUPATHI

This coupling of Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi has generated a lot of hype ever since it was announced. The two actors not only come from various film sectors, but they also attend various acting schools. They will appear in the Sriram Raghavan-directed movie together. Merry Christmas was supposed to be released on Christmas this year, however it will now be released on that day in 2023

SHAH RUKH KHAN AND TAAPSEE PANNU

Rajkumar Hirani's drama film "Dunki," which is scheduled to come out by the end of 2023, will mark the first appearance of Bollywood's "King Khan," who has appeared with a number of actresses over the course of his three-decade-long career. Taapsee Pannu, who played the actor in "Thappad," will share the screen with him.

SARA ALI KHAN AND VICKY KAUSHAL

The actors from "Govinda Naam Mera" and "Atrangi Re" teased the first peek of their first collaboration on Instagram. Laxman Utekar, who directed the romantic comedy "Mimi," has already finished filming an untitled project. No other information has yet been released.

SHAH RUKH KHAN AND NAYANTHARA

Shah Rukh Khan will treat audiences to not one but three films in 2023 after a four-year hiatus. He has collaborated for the first time with the filmmakers of all three pictures. Khan will appear on screen alongside South film icon Nayanthara in Jawan, his first film to be shot entirely in India. The movie, which is being directed by Atlee, promises to reveal the actor in a different avatar. The movie will debut in June of next year.

RASHMIKA MANDANNA AND SIDHARTH MALHOTRA

Rashmika is one of the most well-known actors in India, and when she entered the Hindi film industry, this was the first project she signed on for, making Sidharth her debut Bollywood co-star. 'Mission Majnu' was the first Hindi picture she began working on, despite the fact that her film Goodbye was released before. In this spy thriller set in the 1970s, the two actors have been put opposite one another. On January 20, the movie will be made available on Netflix.

DISHA PATANI AND SIDHARTH MALHOTRA

In the action thriller directed by Karan Johar, actors Sidharth Malhotra from "Student of the Year" and Disha Patani from "Malang" collaborate for the first time. The movie is scheduled to premiere on July 7, 2023.

ANANYA PANDAY AND AYUSHMANN KHURRANA

Ananya Panday, who played Liger's actor, would join Ayushmann Khurrana in the follow-up to the 2019 smash film "Dream Girl," which featured Nushratt Bharuccha. The movie will premiere on June 29, 2023.
