Veena Kaushal had her hand on her heart and had tears in her eyes. His father, Sham Kaushal, smiled and appeared to make a hug gesture while looking at his son standing a distance from him. Vicky shared this black and white picture and added a note, "My pillar of strength… Happy Birthday, Dad!!! Recently Vicky Kaushal received the best actor award from critics at the 67th Filmfare Awards for his performance in the film 'Sardar Udham.' The actor has shared his family's black and white picture, having Father- Sham, mother -Veena, brother- sunny, and Wife- Katrina Kaif. Vicky Kaushal has added the caption, "My pillars. My strength. My everything… blessed."

In the picture, it can be seen that Katrina and Sunny were happy and smiling, whereas his parents were too emotional after watching their son get an award for his efforts.
