Bollywood’s most-followed celebrity on Instagram: Priyanka Chopra beats Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif
Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the most talented actors in both Bollywood and Hollywood. She has come a long way since claiming the title of Miss World in 2000. From ruling Bollywood to delivering several successful projects in Hollywood, Chopra has proved her acting mettle everywhere.
She has now bagged yet another title. Yes, you read it right! Beating celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, and Shraddha Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra has become the most followed Bollywood celebrity on Instagram.
The actress has now a total of 72.4 million followers on Instagram, following her is Shradhha Kapoor who has 68.5 million followers. Deepika Padukone is now in third place with 63.4 million followers. While other Bollywood beauties like Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif have a following of 56 million and 60.4 million respectively.
In the category of male actors, Akshay Kumar is reigning with 58.3 million followers. After Akshay, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan have around 47.4 million and 39.4 million followers respectively on the app.
Priyanka Chopra started her career after she won the title of Miss World in 2000. She made her debut in Bollywood with the spy thriller, The Hero (2003). Later she did many films in Bollywood and made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with Dwayne Johnson’s Baywatch. Priyanka recently worked in the sci-fi film The Matrix Resurrections (2021).
