Brahmastra: Ayan Mukerji unveils new poster featuring antagonist Mouni Roy
Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is one of the hotly anticipated films of 2022 and its trailer is all set to be dropped tomorrow. Fans have been waiting eagerly for the trailer ever since its shooting was completed.
Ahead of the release of its trailer, the makers unveiled one more poster from the film. This one’s special as it featured Mouni Roy who is introduced as the leader of the Dark Forces, the Mysterious Queen of Darkness- Junoon. The Gold actress looked every bit devilish in this sizzling avatar.
Reportedly, Mouni will be playing the antagonist in the film who takes on Ranbir with her powers. Her look in the first teaser is intriguing. She was seen with red eyes and an aura that depicted pure evil.
Along with the poster, Ayan also penned a long note for the actress to appreciate her hard work. He wrote, “A lot of people, I think, are going to walk out of Brahmastra talking about Mouni’s performance as Junoon. Mouni – who has deep belief and deep surrender for Lord Shiva – has always understood Brahmastra very naturally – and with that understanding, she really killed it with her part in our movie! My first meeting with her, I offered her a ‘special appearance’ in Brahmastra. Eventually, she shot with us from our first day to our last schedule, and is really the surprise package in the film!”
