Actress Mouni Roy is winning rare reviews for her antagonistic portrayal in the recently released film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. As Junoon, who aims to conquest the Brahmastra for the main villain Dev, Mouni was bang on in the film. So much that a discourse was triggered that she has overshadowed all the other actors, including the lead pair Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, in the fantasy film.
Responding to this, Mouni has said that she cannot even imagine any such thing and that the lead actors are absolutely lit on screen.
“I am the biggest Ranbir-Alia fan. The biggest. It was an absolute pleasure working with the two of them. No, I cannot even imagine a thought like that, to be honest. I genuinely feel both of them are fire on screen. They’re great, humble, kind, nice human beings,” said Mouni.
“They (Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt) are so dedicated. They wouldn’t leave the set, they were always present, for all the markings, for all the rehearsals, for all the lighting. When I’ve seen them like that, and seen the kind of work that the both of them have done in the film, I feel that they are magic together,” she further adds.
While it is now revealed that Mouni is not the main antagonist in Brahmastra and is actually working for main villain Dev, the latter will reportedly have a meatier in the sequel of the film which has been titled Brahmastra Part Two: Dev.
While there are reports that Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan may feature in the second installment of Brahmastra, an official confirmation is awaited from the makers.
