Casting Director Kavish Sinha REVEALS he was keen to cast visually impaired people in 'BLURR' starring Taapsee Pannu!

The film 'Blurr' was on the floor during the pandemic, but it was tougher for actress Taapsee Pannu. But shooting for the first maiden production is not easy. The film is adapted from the Spanish film 'Julia's eyes' from 2010. Taapsee is playing the role of a woman, losing her eyesight and trying to solve the mystery behind her twin sister's death. The film's casting director was more interested in having visually impaired people for the pivotal role, but it went away due to the pandemic.

Casting director Kavish Sinha opens up about film casting:-

The casting director got open about the film's casting, "When the second wave of COVID-19 arrived, we began casting for Blurr. Offices were closed, and there were no physical auditions. We chose the local Uttarakhand actors by watching their videos. I intended to cast members from the National Association for the Blind and other organizations [for] certain characters who were absolutely blind. But due to the pandemic, we were unable to. Therefore, we had to cast actors as characters who were blind. He describes Taapsee as a hands-on producer, saying, "While she watched all the auditions, director Ajay Bahl made the final decision. Taapsee exhibits faith in each of her departmental leaders. The director made all of the decisions and preferred good actors who would excel in their parts rather than big [stars].

Work front of Taapsee Pannu:-

Taapsee predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. Taapsee has worked in the 'Loop Lapeta,' an official remake of the 1998 German film 'Run Lola Run' film, which was released on Netflix on 4th February. The actress is all set to star with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the film Dunki.
