Mukesh Chhabra's mother, casting director and filmmaker Kamla Chhabra, died on Thursday. She died in the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. She was 70 years old. Several luminaries from the film industry have arrived at the hospital to support the casting director during this difficult moment.
Deepika Padukone was spotted driving to the hospital. She rushed toward the entrance after exiting her car. Aside from her, Farah Khan, Sunil Grover, Nupur Sanon, and Aparshakti Khurrana were also seen at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the cause of death for the casting director's mother is still unknown. Her final rites will be held on April 14 at Oshiwara cremation, according to a post shared by a paparazzi account.
Mukesh Chhabra is a well-known Mumbai casting director. He has been cast in various Bollywood films, including those starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Rajkummar Rao, Sushant Singh Rajput, Mrunal Thakur, Pratik Gandhi, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh are among those he has introduced.

Mukesh has worked as a casting director on a variety of productions, including ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Tubelight’, ‘83’, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘PK’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Scam 1992’, ‘Delhi Crime’, and ‘The Family Man’. Dil Bechara, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, was Mukesh's directorial debut in 2020.
