Sriram Raghavan is one filmmaker who is known to make gripping sagas that keep viewers on the edge till the last frame. In his next titled 'Merry Christmas', the ace director has cast an unusual pairing of Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif.
The duo are coming together for the first time and fans are eagerly waiting to see what the upcoming film has in store.

As Christmas is nearing, the actors have unveiled the first poster from the film. Taking to their respective Instagram handles, both Katrina and Vijay shared the first look still of 'Merry Christmas' which features two champagne glasses smashing into each other.
While Vijay Sethupathi simply wrote, ‘coming soon’, Katrina Kaif captioned her post as: “We wanted to release the film this Christmas...but there is a TWIST :) See you in cinemas soon! #MerryChristmas.(sic)”

Always wanted to work with Sriram Raghavan: Katrina Kaif
The film was announced in Christmas last year and was supposed to be out on X'Mas 2022. However, the release of the film got delayed due to some reasons.
Sharing her excitement of working with Raghavan who is known for films like Badlapur (2015) and Andhadhun (2018), Katrina said, "I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir. He is a master when it comes to thrillers. It is an honor for me to be directed by him."
'Merry Christmas' will release in 2023 in Hindi and Tamil languages.
