Subhash Ghai worked in the film industry for over three decades, giving blockbusters like Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Ram Lakhan, Khal Nayak, Taal and more. However, the filmmaker is known to keep in touch with his industry friends. As the director turns 78 today, he threw a birthday bash yesterday, where many stars marked their attendance.

Several Bollywood celebs attended the birthday bash, like, Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan, Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Rakesh Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Ronit and Rohit Roy, singer Alka Yagnik and more.
Abhishek Bachchan, with his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, attended the birthday bash. However, Abhishek looked dapper in his black bandhgala. Aishwarya Rai took all the attention by decking up in a Royal Blue Salwar Kameez. The diva chose to leave her hair open and sport pink lips for makeup.
Salman Khan also arrived at the venue while decked up in a casual look. He was dressed in denim paired with a brown jacket. Mahima Chaudhry was also there, dressed in a white ensemble. Rakesh Roshan donned a blue ensemble. Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff and Shatrughan Sinha posed for the cameras.

The filmmaker directed his last film, ' Kaanchi' in 2014, starring newbie Mishti Chakraborty in the lead role, along with Kartik Aaryan, Mithun Chakraborty and the late Rishi Kapoor. In 2006, he received the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues for producing IQBAL, starring Shreyas Talpade and Shweta Basu Prasad.
