Chhota Bheem And The Curse Of Damyaan: Anupam Kher And Makarand Deshpande All Set To Star In A Live Action Feature! (Watch Teaser)
More than a decade after the premiere of the much-loved cartoon feature ‘Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan’, the company is preparing a live-action remake starring Anupam Kher. The makers of the film, also dubbed Chhota Bheem and the ‘Curse of Damyaan’, released a trailer on Tuesday.
‘Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan’ stars Kher as Guru Shambhu, Makarand Deshpande as Skandhi, and Yagya Bhasin as the title character. Rajiv Chilaka, who directed the 2012 animated feature of the same name, also stars Aashriya Mishra and Surabhi Tiwari in the film.

The teaser depicts Chhota Bheem traveling back in time a thousand years and combating evil with the assistance of Anupam Kher's Guru Shambhu and his gang. The teaser is set to Raghav Sachar's pulsating music and features action sequences of Bheem that children may find particularly intriguing.
The script was written by Niraj Vikram and Sridisha Dipl, while the casting was done by Mukesh Chhabra, with visual effects supervision by Junaid Ullah. In a previous interview director Rajiv Chilaka, who also produced the film, described Chhota Bheem as "one of the most beloved characters in the world of animation."
“It was high time we brought him to life, and I am certain that children and the whole family everywhere will adore it. Our cast has done remarkable work on this film, and I can hardly wait to share it with you all,” he had said. The film is gearing to release in May, 2024.
