According to reports, Gulzar-Sanjeev Kumar's film Angoor, which is a version of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, served as the inspiration for the movie Cirkus. The movie is scheduled for a December 23, 2022, global theatre release.

Cirkus provides the spectator with a complete package of humor, action, dancing, and music, much like any other movie by Rohit Shetty. In a song with Ranveer, Deepika Padukone makes an unexpected entrance. The high-intensity choreography and the couple's display of their hook movements give the impression that they are having a great time.

The comedy in the Cirkus teaser works, but it's too bright background, the women getting little screen time or meaningful words, and a few dull moments in the generally hilarious clip need to be revised.

Tiku Talsania, Brijendra Kala, Mukesh Tiwari, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Vrajesh Hirjee, additional performers that frequently bring colour to a Rohit Shetty film, also make their presence felt by dropping memorable quips.
