Mahira Khan is a well-known name in Pakistan. She began her career as a VJ before transitioning to acting in award-winning Pakistani films such as ‘Bol’ and ‘Humsafar’. She created a name for herself in the Hindi film business after making her debut in 2017 with the action-romance film ‘Raees’, in which she co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan. In 2007, the actress married her childhood sweetheart Ali Askari in a traditional wedding ceremony. The marriage, however, dissolved in 2015. Mahira is now married for the second time, this time to businessman Salim Karim.

Happiness has finally arrived at Pakistani actress Mahira Khan's door, as she married for the second time to Salim Karim. Anushay Talha Khan, Mahira's talent manager, released some inside videos from the gorgeous ceremony that wed the pair in front of their loved ones on her Instagram stories. Mahira was dressed in a lovely powder blue lehenga-choli with a long veil that hid her face. The groom was dressed in a black sherwani with a matching pajama and an icy blue turban. As she approached Karim, he became emotional and was seen crying tears of delight.

Mahira's future husband then met her at the altar, where he raised the veil, saw his bride, and planted a gentle kiss on her head. They exchanged loving embraces, which are enough to soften even the hardest of hearts. The pair married in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by cheers and clapping, and showered with affection by their guests.

The actress intended to marry for the second time in a hill station in Pakistan's Punjab, according to Daily Pakistan. Mahira Khan revealed up about her hard divorce and raising her infant boy Azlaan as a single mother in an interview.

“Post Azu, I knew my marriage was…even prior, I think. But I think you let it go on and you love the person, who is your childhood sweetheart. But I think that was a very painful and difficult time. I was so young at the time. I had a baby, I was scared,” she said.
