CONTROVERSY: Deepak Tijori Files A Legal Case Against 'Tipppsy' Co-Producer For FRAUD

Deepak’s acting debut was Mahesh Bhatt's mega-hit musical romance ‘Aashiqui’ released in 1990. Other big-budget movies in which he appeared include ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, ‘Khiladi’, ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, ‘Baadshah’, ‘Vaastav’, ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’, ‘Raja Natwarlal’, and many others. Together with his work as an actor, he also served as director for various Bollywood movies, including ‘Oops’, ‘Fareb’, ‘Fox’, and ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani’.

With the upcoming love drama ‘Ittar’, Deepak is prepared to make a comeback as an actor. Rituparna Sengupta plays the lead in the movie, which was directed by Veena Bakshi, a national award winner. The movie's scheduled premiere has not yet been announced. Taran Adarsh, a trade expert, revealed on Instagram last month that Deepak would be directing the adventure-thriller movie ‘Tipppsy’.

Aside from his work, Deepak claimed that a co-producer had fooled him and had not returned his money. The actor has filed a complaint against the co-producer. Let’s get into the details of this..

Deepak Tijori Files A Complaint Against His Co-Producer

According to the Times of India, 10 days ago Deepak lodged a written complaint when Mohan failed to pay him. According to the article, Mohan allegedly "syphoned off" the cash while claiming to need it for the shoot site.

"The actor and the accused had signed the contract in 2019 for the movie ‘Tipppsy’. The accused did not pay the money and the cheque issued to him kept getting bounced. We are probing the case, and no arrest has been made so far," Bandopant Bansode, a senior inspector with the Amboli police, stated to Times of India.

In his lawsuit, Deepak reportedly stated: "Nadaar took the money to pay for the location in London in September 2019. The money was paid after he promised to return, but he kept giving excuses and the cheques kept bouncing."

Deepak stated in the FIR that the ‘Tipppsy’ filming began in London in September 2019. According to Deepak, Mohan lost 2.6 crore because he didn't finish the job. Mumbai Police reported that a case has been filed in accordance with sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC). A probe has been started, according to authorities, according to news agency ANI.
