The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards 2023 were held on Monday. The Red Carpet was packed with popular celebrities, like, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, television actress Tejasswi Prakash and Rupali Ganguly, Rishabh Shetty, Rekha, and others. Many films have bagged awards, and several actors were awarded for their amazing performances at the award event.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has been awarded the Most Versatile Actor of the Year award for the film, 'The Kashmir Files. On Monday, the same film has bagged the 'Best Film' award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. The Best Actress award was honored to Alia Bhatt for the film, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi.' She also acknowledged the Best Actor award for the film, 'Brahmastra' on behalf of her husband, Ranbir Kapoor.

Rishabh Shetty was awarded The Most Promising Actor award for his Kannada movie 'Kantara.' Varun Dhawan was taken, For his role in 'Bhediya,' the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor. Television star Rupali Ganguly starring 'Anupamaa,' a television series, won the event's Series of The Year prize. Veteran actress Rekha was acknowledged for credit for her 'Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry.' Famous singer and musician Hariharan was acknowledged for his 'Outstanding Contribution To The Music Industry.'
