Deepika Padukone shares her exceptional Bollywood journey through her recent post

Recently, there is a trend going around Instagram and many people, including B-Town celebs are hopping over it. It's a trend where you introduce yourself by your real name and it's followed by your nicknames. Deepika Padukone decided to hop on the bandwagon and took up the trend. She posted her character journey in Bollywood. Padukone introduces herself in the video, which then moves through a timeline from her first role to her most current.

The video starts by featuring 'Shanti Priya', her debut and most adored character in Bollywood from the movie Om Shanti Om (2007) , followed by Meera from the movie Love Aaj Kal (2009), then followed by Veronica from the movie Cocktail (2012). Then comes one of the most iconic characters that took her to new heights, and also led her to her better half, Ranveer Singh, 'Leela' from the movie Ram Leela (2013). This marked Deepika's ultimate journey in Bollywood. Then comes all of her fan favourite characters like 'Naina Talwar' from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), 'Meenamma' from Chennai Express (2013), Piku from the movie 'Piku' (2015) and last but not least, 'Alisha' from Gehraiyaan (2022) which we are yet to see.

Many Bollywood celebrities showered love on her post and commented their favourite characters. Her hubby Ranveer Singh couldn't just pick one and wrote a cute comment, "It's a toughie".

Not only that, but roles like Mastani, Tara, Padmavati, and a slew of others are fan favourites and proof of Shanti Priya's illustrious Bollywood career, and there hasn't been a time when she hasn't wowed us with her great acting.

She is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Gehraiyaan alongside Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. The much anticipated film will be released on 11th February, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
