On the sets, Nawaz experienced a sense of déjà vu when he shot at the same location where he had filmed his short film Bypass alongside the late Irrfan Khan.

"Nawazuddin Siddiqui is already in Rajasthan after a long time for the shoot of his upcoming movie Afwaah. The actor is really excited to revisit the beautiful place as previously he visited there for his short film Bypass. So it seems like it will be a good time for the actor to be in the city after so many years," a source close to the actor revealed.

For starters, Bypass is a silent short film which features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Irrfan Khan. The film won a lot of praise after its screening at several international film fests, including the prestigious Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Aubagne Film Festival.

On work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has an interesting crop of films coming up in the future, which includes Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehra, Adbhut and Laxman Lopez.
