Dharmendra Reveals How Karan Deol Introduced Fiance Drisha Acharya To The Family!

The famous actor Dharmendra's grandson Karan Deol and his longtime lover Drisha Acharya are getting married. Karan's uncles Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Abhay Deol made a rare joint appearance at the happy occasion at the couple's pre-wedding reception, which was hosted in Mumbai. Although the precise date has not been made public, the wedding is apparently set for this month.

In an interview, Dharmendra, who totally supports Karan's decision, expressed his joy over the impending nuptials. He hailed his grandson as a kind and decent man and expressed happiness that he had found his soul mate. Dharmendra explained that there was a chain of family contact when asked how Drisha was introduced to the family. First, Karan told his mother, then his mother told Sunny Deol, and eventually Sunny told Dharmendra. In reaction to this information, Dharmendra gave a positive response, saying, "Go ahead if Karan likes her." He then had the chance to meet Drisha for the first time at a family get-together at his house.

According to rumours, Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya were childhood sweethearts and are now prepared to turn their romance into a lifetime commitment. It's anticipated that only close family and friends would be present for the wedding ceremony. According to reports, the Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, would serve as the couple's wedding location. It is important to note that Drisha Acharya is the famous filmmaker Bimal Roy's granddaughter.

Karan Deol made his Bollywood debut professionally with the movie ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass.’ He also made an appearance in ‘Velle,’ a 2021 film starring his uncle Abhay Deol. In ‘Apne 2,’ his upcoming film, he will co-star with Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol. Regarding Dharmendra, he will appear in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani,’ a family-friendly comedy directed by Karan Johar and starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The movie will be shown in theatres on July 28, 2023.
