One of the most cinematic love stories is that of Dharmendra and Hema Malini. They got married in 1980 after falling in love while working together. Dharmendra had four kids and was previously married. That did not prevent him from marrying Hema Malini, though.
The two celebrities supposedly became Muslims before getting hitched. Esha and Ahana Deol, the daughters of Hema Malini and Dharmendra, were a blessing. Then Hema Malini took a break from acting in films before making a comeback with 'Baghban.' In this one, she appeared on screen alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

Hema Malini addressed these rumours in an interview. She giggled when asked if Dharmendra didn't watch 'Baghban' because of her chemistry with Big B, "I don’t know about that."
She also admitted in the interview that she had some reservations about casting 'Baghban' because she would be playing a mother to adults. Her mother pushed that she plays the part even though she wasn't sure if she wanted to or not.
She stated, "I remember when I was hearing the story from Ravi Chopra, my mother was sitting. After he left, I said, ‘Chaar itne bade bade ladko ki maa ka role karne ko bol raha hai (He’s asking me to play the mother of four grown-ups). How can I do this?"
Her mother then advised her to sign 'Baghban' since she thought the story and role were excellent.
In the tale of 'Baghban,' an elderly couple is forced to part ways when their children believe they can no longer care for them jointly. Mother must therefore live with one child while the father must do the same with the other.

They come together in some way. In the movie, Salman Khan plays the part of Alok, who aids Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini's characters in regaining their self-respect. It is a moving movie with a powerful message to convey.
