The most beautiful woman in the world, Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, had previously disclosed that she did not have the "ideal beach physique" and felt uncomfortable wearing a bikini while competing in pageants in 1994. She had also mentioned this to the organizers, and in response, the swimwear round was later canceled in 2015.
Aishwarya claimed in an interview that she was speaking for the other competitors who held the same views.
‘In 1995, the bikini round was abandoned after my pageant in 1994. Even then, I had mentioned to the organizers that those of us of different nationalities did not necessarily feel comfortable modeling in a bikini. Speaking on behalf of many females from nations where the swimwear round was unnecessary, I wasn't just talking about myself.
The actor said, ‘In reality, the swimwear round was replaced for the following three years with a beachwear fashion show where competitors could display beachwear. I was delighted that it was handled in a typical method round.’
I don't want-I don't need to see ladies just strolling around in bikinis, Julia Morley, the chairwoman of Miss World, said to Elle magazine in 2014. It does nothing to help the woman. Additionally, it accomplishes nothing for any of us.
About her lack of the ideal beach figure, Aishwarya remarked, "When I got Miss World, I didn't have the best beach body, and I can say it on record and vouch for it that there were others in the 87 contenders who had a better physique. I wasn't the fittest competitor in the Miss India contest.
