Since its announcement, Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue' has been the buzz of the town. The film, which is produced by Pooja Entertainment, brings the larger-than-life story of Jaswant Singh Gill and his bravery to the big screen, and the recently released trailer promises an exciting experience for fans and moviegoers.

But did you know? The film was originally titled 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Indian Rescue' before being renamed 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue'. The title was changed barely a day before the teaser was released, and the decision was made to show respect for the government's decision to change India from Bharat.

For the fourth time, Akshay Kumar plays Sardaar in the film, which tells the true story of unsung hero Jaswant Singh Gill. Before 'Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue,' Akshay Kumar had previously played Sikh characters in 'Kesari' (2019), 'Singhh is Bliing' (2014), and comic movie 'Singh Is Kinng' (2008).
