Did you know R Madhavan once said he was drawn to Bipasha Basu?
The 2012 film Jodi Breakers had actors R. Madhavan and Bipasha Basu together in the lead roles. In the same year, Madhavan discussed his on-screen chemistry with Bipasha and declared that he was "definitely attracted" to her during the film's promotional tour.
In a 2012 interview with a news portal, Madhavan said, "Whenever you have chemistry on-screen, then you have to be very attracted to the person. And I am definitely attracted to Bipasha as a person. She is phenomenal and if you don't have that chemistry, then it is difficult to portray the romance on screen. She is exotically beautiful, charming. I did not know how our relationship would be on the sets. She never made me realise how big a star she is."
Meanwhile, Bipasha Basu married actor Karan Singh Grover in 2016, after they had first met in 2015 while filming Alone. She previously dated actor John Abraham for ten years before they broke up in 2011. In the web series Dangerous from MX Player, Bipasha was last seen in 2020. Sonali Raut, Nitin Arora, Suyyash Rai, Karan Singh Grover, and Natasha Suri were also featured in the show.
Madhavan, on the other hand, has been married to his long time partner Sarita Birje since 1999. They welcomed a son, Vedaant Madhavan in 2005. R Madhavan was last seen on-screen in his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
