Rajpal Yadav, a famous Bollywood actor known for his comedic timing and ability to play a wide range of characters, recently talked about a memorable time when his mother saw him getting hit on screen. Yadav told Lallantop in an interview that his mother ran out of the room when she saw him get hit in the famous 1999 Doordarshan TV episode 'Mungeri Ke Bhai Naurangilal,' which was directed by Prakash Jha.

Yadav told the story and said that this particular TV show was on DD1 when he was just starting out as an actor in Mumbai, two years before he made his film debut. People from his town came to see him perform because the show was on the only channel they could get at the time. In one scene, Yadav's character, Naurangilal, was thinking about the famous last scene of 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,' where Shah Rukh Khan's character gets beat up. In his dream, Yadav's character's boss, Mr. Sethi, hit him over and over again. Rajpal's mother was scared when she saw how her son was being treated, so she left the room.

Rajpal Yadav said that his parents didn't know anything about how films are made or how they are made. He had to tell his mother that these were trained actors and that the slaps were part of the planned scenes, which were just for fun. He also told them that adding funny scenes, like getting hit, was a common way to make pictures popular and fun to watch. Rajpal said that despite his attempts, his parents still didn't fully understand what he did for a living and didn't know everything about it.

'Mungeri Ke Bhai Naurangilal' was a follow-up to 'Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne,' a popular Doordarshan TV show in which Raghubir Yadav played the main part. Both shows were directed by Prakash Jha and showed how early Yadav worked with the well-known director.

Rajpal Yadav was recently in 'Kathal,' a movie with Sanya Malhotra that was first shown on Netflix. He also played an important part with Kartik Aaryan in the famous movie 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.' The two actors are going to work together again in their next movie, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha.' Rajpal Yadav also appeared in Aayushman Khurrana's film 'Dream Girl 2.' He said that, despite his success and rising list of films, his parents still don't know much about his work in the movie industry.
