Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan have been friends since the latter started dating Katrina Kaif. We have repeatedly witnessed the performers joking about and making disparaging remarks about one another.
However, RK and Salman had a close relationship long before then, and as a result, the actor previously appeared on Khan's reality programme to promote his then-upcoming movie, 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', alongside Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba.

The movie was a box office success and did well both domestically and abroad. It was directed by 'Pathaan' filmmaker Siddharth Anand. We recently came across a video in which Ranbir Kapoor claims that Salman Khan's on- and off-screen persona served as the inspiration for his character in 'Bachna Ae Haseeno.'
When Khan inquired about his progress on 'Bachna Ae Haseeno,' Kapoor responded, “Maine jab ye script padha tha, toh maine ye maine ye character aapke on screen aur off screen persona pe aadharit kiya tha. Kyuki aap jo itne eternal lover boy of the Indian cine. Even Siddharth jo director hai film ke, woh bhi mujhse kehte the ki Mr. Salman Khan can play this role blindfoldedly.”
Salman Khan flashed Ranbir Kapoor an evil smile as he listened to him and said, “Main sab samaj raha hoon.”
On the professional front, Salman Khan is getting ready for the release of 'Tiger 3,' which also features a cameo from Shah Rukh Khan. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor has 'Animal,' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Rashmika Mandanna.
