Yes, ever since Rhea Kapoor announced her next production ‘The Crew’ with three of the most popular ladies of the Bollywood industry Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Tabu; fans haven’t been able to control their anticipation. When the film Veere di Wedding was released, it was a hit as it had four female leads and stories revolving around them. Now it is reported that a male lead has joined the film.
The Crew's newest cast member, Diljit Dosanjh, was announced on Tuesday. Producer Rhea said in a statement that the cast is overjoyed to have Diljit on board. She said in the statement, “We are pleased to have Diljit join the cast given his perceptive eye for amazing projects. This movie has always had a specific purpose; it's unlike any other form of entertainment you have experienced. I'm thrilled to provide spectators with an engaging and unforgettable cinematic experience, together with the cast.”
The film has been described as a comedy of blunders and mishaps and stars Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Three ladies are portrayed as they toil and hustle in the faltering airline industry in order to succeed in their lives. But as they make their way forward, their destinies place them in some unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, trapping them in a web of deception. Rhea and Ektaa Kapoor are the producers of The Crew, which is directed by Rajesh Krishnan.
