Romantic comedy is a genre that attracts larger audiences and is very popular among moviegoers. And on top of that if it’s a new pairing on-screen then it’s a plus point for the film. And for the first time, we get to see the Param Sundari of Bollywood Kriti Sanon and the charming Shahid Kapoor together on the silver screens in their next project which is a romantic comedy. Directed by Dinesh Vijan, the film will see Kriti playing a robot while Shahid is a scientist. The announcement has left the fans on the edge of their seats on to know when the film will be out. And now the latest reports revealed that another new actress has been cast in the film.
Dimple Kapadia joins Krit-Shahid starrer
A source familiar with the development confirmed saying, “Dimple is a crucial component of this Maddock production. Dimple has worked on movies for the label including Cocktail, Finding Fanny, and Angrezi Medium. She is now thrilled to work with them once again on this original love comedy with a robotic world as the backdrop. Her character gives the story a fantastic arc.”
About the film
Earlier, there have been numerous speculations that the movie has been delayed, but it is confirmed that it is still on schedule and will go on floors in November. The much-discussed romantic comedy begins filming in Mumbai today, October 29, and will then have a run in Delhi before heading to Europe for a long run. The untitled romantic comedy will hit theatres in 2023.
