On January 11, at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, the FIH Hockey Men's World Cup opening ceremony will feature live performances by Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Disha Patani, the well-known K-Pop band BLACK SWAN, and Shreya Lenka of Odisha.
Pritam, Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Lisa Mishra, Amit Mishra, Antara Mitra, Sreerama Chandra, Nakash Aziz, Shalmali Kholgade, and Namita Meleka from Odisha, will fascinate the audience. From January 13 to January 29, the big competition will be held in the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the recently built Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.

Celebration, the official name of the inaugural ceremony, would feature showmanship, Odia culture, song, and dance with a technological flair. It will act as a warm-up for the start of the tournament. The only way to get tickets for the opening ceremony at the Barabati stadium, which will take place two days before the commencement of the massive event, is online. Starting at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, the tickets will be sold via Paytm Insider. The tickets are priced between Rs 250 and Rs 500.
