Disha Patani reveals that Ranbir Kapoor was her first celebrity crush, and further shares a funny anecdote

Disha Patani has always been in the news whether it is for her new film, her Instagram pictures, her fashion statements, or her dancing videos. The actress is currently promoting her upcoming film Ek Villain Returns which is directed by Mohit Suri. In a recent chat, the Malang actress revealed her first celebrity crush’s name, and it’s none other than the national crush Ranbir Kapoor.
Talking about it, the actress shared a funny and adorable incident. She said, “When I was in school, I was a huge fan, and I almost got into so many accidents because I used to see his poster. In my city, there was a huge poster of his, I think he was endorsing some brand and I used to just stare at it, and ride my scooter, and I just bumped into so many things while doing that.”
The diva who plays a dark and grey character in the film expressed that she is happy in that role. “I feel as an artist, there is much more that I can do with a grey character, over a white, or a black, or whatever. Like a hero, hero. I have grown up watching thrillers, and action (films) all my life, and I feel like all those movies that I had seen when I was younger and till now, I felt I could bring something from those and put it into my character, and make my own thing out of it,” said Disha.
Ek Villain Returns also stars Tara Sutaria, John Abraham, and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. The flick is slated to release in theatres on July 29.
