Don 3: Ranveer Singh DISAPPOINTED as Farhan Akhtar CANCELS Last-Minute Birthday Announcement; ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ Back On Track (Details Inside)
The extensive plans Ranveer Singh had for his birthday on July 6 fell a little short. The idea was to proclaim his involvement with the ‘Don’ franchise and attempt what no rational person would ever dare: to take Shah Rukh Khan's place.

However, a last-minute alteration in the original plan occurred. The announcement of ‘Don 3’ has been delayed. Evidently, the announcement will only be made once the full cast and crew are assembled, according to the producers Excel Entertainment.
Before ‘Don 3’, Farhan Akhtar's other previously announced film, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, a chick flick starring Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt, may begin production.
According to a close friend of Farhan, “He is very keen to do a shero project. He hasn’t done that before. I think he wants to do ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ first.” The delay of his significant birthday announcement appears to have upset Ranveer Singh, who is eager to assume the ‘Don’ mantle.

“He was so looking forward to it. What better birthday gift than to tell the world that he was stepping into SRK’s shoes? But Farhan and his partner Ritesh Sidhwani thought Ranveer was moving too fast, as usual,” source said about Ranveer’s balloon being punctured.
