Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha are set for their film release on 4th November. The film is going to have its theoretical release worldwide. Recently the special screening for the film has been done in Mumbai. Several celebs of B-town attended it. Filmmaker Farah Khan also attended the screening, and she shared her experience with the film. She says she can relate to the concept of the film.
The Double XL film says the fun stabs to the boys, who body shame females. The film shows the matter of obsession with weight and an image of the female body. The film focuses on body weight stereotyping in society for an extended period. The film is based on two plus-sized females who shift to the UK from India. They magnificently show their body which is usually not accepted by society.
Various celebs have shared their reviews on the film after screening. Farah Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Ashish R Mohan and Kabir Khan also shared their thoughts on the film.
Farah says she can relate to the film as a Double XL. She says boys were also cute in the film. Girls are also fantastic but like boys more. She says many of them follow a diet and stop eating desired food for weight loss, which will make them notice.
Ashutosh says this film allows him to accept as he is, the way he is. The message passed by the film is a good one. He wishes the whole team of the Double XL for success. Kabir also says he also liked the movie. It was delightful and flowed very quickly; an entertaining film.
