Dulquer Salmaan says he wants to make his every Hindi film memorable for the audience

Dulquer Salmaan has been in the film industry for a decade now. He has time and again proved himself as one of the most intriguing and talented actors. DQ has appeared in a number of films including Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil. The actor’s latest hit Sita Ramam was critically acclaimed and loved by audiences. His chemistry with Mrunal was adored by fans. The film also did so well that it was later released in Hindi.

Dulquer Salmaan, a multilingual performer who has only occasionally featured in Hindi films, said in a recent interview that he wanted "every excursion" to be special. DQ has appeared in a number of south films but has only appeared in two Hindi films so far which are Karwaan(2018) and The Zoya Factor (2019). The actor has now an upcoming Hindi film Chup: Revenge of the Artist is all set for release and fans are eager to watch him in a Hindi film once again.

Salmaan spoke about how as an artist he is open to doing films across all languages. DQ said, “I’ve grown up watching Hindi cinema and I love the industry. But I want to keep doing unique films and different roles. Because I work in so many languages, I believe every outing should be memorable.

I come a little sporadically and there is always a gap. Whenever I do a film in Hindi, I hope it is memorable for the audience. I hope it is a film and a role that they take back home. And I stay in their minds, at least as a good actor.”

On September 23, 2022, Chup: Revenge of the Artist, starring Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan, will be released in theatres. In the movie, Pooja Bhatt, Dulquer Salmaan, and Shreya Dhanwanthary all have important parts. Directed by R Balki, the film is a tribute to director Guru Dutt and his film Kaagaz Ke Phool.
