Four years after the release of Veere Di Wedding, producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor are all set to collaborate again for a new project. The yet-untitled film features Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was last seen in Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
Talking to a leading daily recently, Kareena hinted about an upcoming project, which follows the life of three strong female characters. However, there was no clarity about the film that she was referring to.
Meanwhile, a leading entertainment daily has claimed that post the success of Veere Di Wedding, Ekta, Rhea and Kareena were really keen on coming together again. There is also a report stating that apart from Kareena, Tabu and Kriti Sanon have also been approached for the other two central characters. However, nothing has been made official so far.
"After the success of Veere Di Wedding, Ekta and Rhea wanted to collaborate on another project, and have finally found a subject that they would jointly like to produce. As of now, the film is expected to roll in January 2023 and is very different from Veere Di Wedding," a source close to the development told a leading entertainment daily.
From what we hear, the producers have already commenced pre-production work and very soon, an announcement will be made with regards to the final starcast of the project.
While fans are super-excited to see Bebo, Tabu and Kriti in one frame, we hope that the film creates magic and turns out to be a blockbuster like Veere Di Wedding!
