One of the most current trends that have been going on in Bollywood is the remaking of original songs. While many fans enjoy the remake and groove to it, some of them who are in love with the originals often share their disappointment and unhappiness about the same. Audiences have always loved to show their opinion openly. And here’s the latest example! Now Neha Kakkar recreated Falguni's cult hit Maine Payal Hai Chhankai with Priyank Sharma, Dhanashree Verma, and herself. O Sajna and its vocalist Neha Kakkar have drawn a lot of criticism from online users for remaking the original hit.

Falguni Pathak too doesn't appear to like the new song by Neha Kakkar. A select group of followers took to social media to tag Falguni and demand that Neha put a stop to the practice of remaking songs, much to their displeasure. A few of these comments were uploaded by Falguni on Instagram stories. Someone urged Neha to create original content with her thought and art rather than trying to make money off of a commodity that's already available in the market.

One of the fans’ comments read, "ruining our childhood memories with this cringe." Another comment stated, "Paap band Karo. I beg you, someone should outlaw these autotune singers and their covers." The remix era in Hindi music is commonly attributed to Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar, and Tanishk Bagchi, the composer who is also regarded as being the mind behind "O Sajna."

Falguni re-shared a story from one of her fans asking her to take legal action against Neha Kakkar. In a recent interview, Falguni Pathak also revealed that O Sajna's creators didn't approach her. When asked about the suing thing, she replied, "I wish I could, but I do not have the rights."
