Fans Upset As Deepika Padukone Ignores Ranveer Singh's Extended Hand At An Event, Feel That ‘Something Is Off’

On Thursday, March 23, several Bollywood stars made stylish entrances on the red carpet at the fourth annual Indian Sports Honours in Mumbai. There were some very well-known figures from the entertainment sector in attendance to honor the sporting champions. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also arrived on the red carpet in style. Fans, however, believe there is trouble between them. At the event, Deepika flatly dismissed Ranveer's attempts to hold her hand and continued on.

In the Instagram footage posted by a paparazzo account, Ranveer Singh can be seen standing by and watching as Deepika Padukone exits her car. Before walking onto the red carpet, the couple touches up their outfits and chats with a few individuals. Ranveer extends his hand to Deepika as they proceed, but she ignores him and continues walking forward. Later, Ranveer advances, and the pair strike a stance on the red carpet.

"Their body language has changed completely... I feel, they had a fight before this even (sic)." Another commented, "Deepika gusse mai hai. Usne hath nahi pakda (sic)." A third wrote, "Days kuch toh gadbad hai..he is not liking her posts nor she holding his hand looks like romance ended soon (sic)."

Another fan wrote, "Something is off between them. He offered to hold her hand and she ignored. I feel she disrespects him completely becoz she thinks she is a bigger star than him..when in reality he is the versatile one. She had the same attitude before she was caught by NCB. He was with her during her lowest low and still not humble (sic)."

After this video was shared online, some fans expressed concern.

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh is getting ready for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which he teams up once again with Alia Bhatt following Gully Boy. According to the announcement, the movie will be published in April. Recently, Alia and Ranveer finished the last part of the Kashmir filming. Cirkus is where Ranveer Singh was last spotted. Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez played the leading women. The movie features a special appearance by Deepika.

While Deepika was most recently seen in the popular movie Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan plays the title character in the action-thriller movie. The movie premiered on January 25. She was also presented the award for RRR at the 2023 Oscars.
