Filmfare 2023 Nominations: Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra Puts Alia Bhatt In The Lead; The Kashmir Files Gets Six Votes

Filmfare 2023 Nominations: Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra Puts Alia Bhatt In The Lead; The Kashmir Files Gets Six Votes

The 68th Filmfare Awards 2023 nominees feature performances, films, and artists who made waves last year. Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Maniesh Paul will host the ceremony. At the award ceremony, Vicky Kaushal, Govinda, Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez will perform.

'Gangubai Kathiawadi' received 10 nominations, including best film, best director, best actor for Alia Bhatt, best music, and best debut male for Shantanu Maheshwari.

Alia's other 2022 film, 'Brahmastra,' co-starring husband Ranbir Kapoor, has received top nods for best film, best director for Ayan Mukerji, best supporting actor for Mouni Roy, and best VFX. The film received all music nominations, including music (Pritam), lyrics (Amitabh Bhattacharya for Kesariya), and singing (Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi).

'The Kashmir Files' received six nominations, including best picture, best director for Vivek Agnihotri, best actor for Anupam Kher, and best supporting actor for Mithun Chakraborty.
