Filming wraps on Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s HIT- The First Case

The upcoming Bollywood film HIT- The First Case, which stars Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles, has wrapped up production, the makers have announced.

For those not in the know, HIT- The First Case is the official remake of the 2020 Telugu hit of the same name. It starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles and turned out to be a profitable venture at the box office.

The remake is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore.   

The official Twitter account of T-Series Films posted pictures of the cast and crew post the wrap.    “Bhushan Kumar and Dil Raju’s HIT - The First Case, starring RajkummarRao and sanyamalhotra07 calls it a wrap, see you in cinemas soon,” the tweet read.

The Hindi remake of the action thriller film is directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, who also helmed the original film.  

HIT - The First Case is described as a “gripping tale of a cop, who is on the trail of a missing girl”.      

The film marks the first collaboration between Malhotra and Rao, who had featured in Anurag Basu’s crime anthology film Ludo in different segments.

The makers are yet to announce the official release date for the film.
