Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s Daughter Aaliyah Kashyap And Shane Gregoire Host A Lavish Engagement Party (View PICS)

Last night, director Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire, the fiance, organised an engagement party in Mumbai. In May of this year, the couple made their engagement public.

Many famous star kids attended the lavish event, including Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Palak Tiwari, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Alaya F.

Anurag Kashyap, a delighted father, and his ex-wife Kalki Koechlin joined in on the engagement celebration. Sappho, Kalki's daughter, and Guy Hershberg, her lover, were with her. Imtiaz Ali and Vikramaditya Motwane, two renowned filmmakers, were also spotted at the event.

On May 20, Shane proposed to Aaliyah, and she said yes. This marked the beginning of the couple's engagement. Aaliyah had written, “soooooo THIS HAPPENED!!!!! to my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my FIANCE! you are the love of my life. thank you for showing me what real & unconditional love feels like. saying yes to you was the easiest thing i’ve ever done & i can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. Aaliyah revealed her love story while engaging with her fans. She described how she first swiped on Shane Gregoire's profile on a dating app before letting him know she was interested in him.

After speaking with him for two months, Aaliyah also discussed seeing him in person and disclosed, “I made the first move. We met after two months of talking and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I was waiting for him to kiss me but I was like, he is not doing it. I think he didn’t know if I was comfortable with it, so I just went in for it. It was so awkward because we were talking and mid-sentence I did it, because I was thinking about it so much and I was so nervous.”
