Finally! Sonam Kapoor Breaks Her Silence On Rana Daggubati’s Remarks On Her; Says ‘Here's Something I'd Like Certain Individuals To Consider……’

Sonam Kapoor, an actress, appears to have weighed in on the ongoing issue started by actor-producer Rana Daggubati's recent remarks. She quoted previous US First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, without specifically mentioning the recent events. Sonam shared the quotation on her Instagram stories. She wrote, "Here's something I'd like certain individuals to consider, especially when discussing fabricated matters about people."

The quote reads, "Small minds discuss people; average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas."

An incident linking actor Dulquer Salmaan and an unnamed "prominent Hindi cinema heroine" on the set of an unnamed movie, as related by Rana Daggubati, is what started the controversy. Despite the fact that Rana omitted the heroine's name, online rumours quickly suggested he was referring to Sonam. ‘The Zoya Factor,’ a collaboration between Dulquer and Sonam, didn't do well at the box office.

Later, Rana took to Twitter (now called X) to apologise for his remarks that he had made at an event for the movie ‘King of Kotha.’

"Had I held a bottle, I might have crushed it. However, Dulquer stayed composed and delivered as many takes as required. He tolerated the pranks played on him. I later spoke firmly to the producers about this," Rana was quoted by a popular news portal.

Dulquer will star in the Netflix series ‘Guns & Gulaabs,’ which Raj and DK co-created and directed, before his participation in ‘King of Kotha.’ Sonam most recently made an appearance in the thriller ‘Blind,’ which had a low-key JioCinema debut. This was her first acting role since ‘The Zoya Factor.’
