Border
One of the best war films ever produced in Bollywood is largely acknowledged as being JP Dutta's 1997 epic war picture ‘Border.’ The 1971 Indo-Pak conflict's Battle of Longewala in Rajasthan served as the inspiration for the concept. With Tabu, Raakhee, Pooja Bhatt, and Sharbani Mukherjee playing supporting roles, the film stars Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Sudesh Berry, Puneet Issar, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in the lead roles.
Rang De Basanti
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra wrote the provocative drama ‘Rang De Basanti’ in 2006. The story revolves around a British film student who travels to India, befriends five young people, and casts them in her documentary film, which motivates them to oppose government corruption. The primary cast of the movie included Aamir Khan, Siddharth, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Atul Kulkarni, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor, and British actress Alice Patten.
The Legend of Bhagat Singh
Rajkumar Santoshi's film ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’ chronicles the lives of revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivram Hari Rajguru who sacrificed their lives to retake India from the British Raj. From his early years, when he witnesses the Jallianwala Bagh slaughter, up to the day of his execution on March 24, 1931, the play follows Bhagat Singh. Ajay Devgan played the character of Bhagat Singh, and Sushant Singh played Sukhdev Thapar. D Santosh played Shivaram Rajguru in the movie.
Sardar Udham
‘Sardar Udham,’ a biographical drama by Shoojit Sircar, is also on the list. It is based on the biography of Sardar Udham Singh, who murdered Michael O'Dwyer in London in retaliation for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Vicky Kaushal played the lead in the movie.
Uri: The Surgical Strike
