Actress Ameesha Patel has spoken out about the 2018 case of a cheque bounce. She was just given bail in the case, so she had been keeping quiet about it. She turned herself into the Ranchi Civil Court, and senior division judge DN Shukla gave her bail. Ameesha said in her first talk about the case that the complaint against her was false and made up to hurt her. The case was started by Ajay Kumar Singh, a film director from the state of Jharkhand.
Even though fans and well-wishers have sent her many messages about the situation, Ameesha has decided to stay quiet and let the legal process play out. She was upset and said, "It is unfortunate that Mr. Ajay from Ranchi took advantage of my silence, dignity, and respect for the system. He chose to make a public spectacle and get famous at my expense."
Ameesha Patel is still sure that the court will deal with the false complaint, which was made for other reasons. The case is about how Ajay Kumar Singh sent Rs. 2.5 crore to Ameesha's bank account for the making of the movie 'Desi Magic.' But the star didn't go through with the project and sent Ajay a cheque for Rs. 2.50 crore that bounced. Ameesha had been charged with cheating and criminal breach of trust, but the Supreme Court had stopped the criminal case against her.

On the work front, Ameesha Patel will be in 'Gadar 2,' which will be directed by Anil Sharma and stars Sunny Deol, Utkarsh Sharma, and herself. The movie is set to come out on August 11.
