Gehraiyaan: Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday starrer to now premiere on Amazon Prime on February 11
Dharma Productions’ much-anticipated film Gehraiyaan, starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ananya Panday in lead roles, has been delayed by a couple of weeks. Earlier slated to premiere on January 25, 2022, the romantic drama film will now land on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
The new release date of Gehraiyaan was announced on the special occasion of Deepika Padukone’s birthday. The actress is celebrating her 36th birthday today. In addition to the new release date, the makers also dropped 6 new posters of the film, which include enchanting individual character posters for the lead cast along with a sensuous poster featuring Padukone and Chaturvedi.
Gehraiyaan has been directed by Shakun Batra who has previously helmed Kapoor & Sons (2016) and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012). Talking about the film, Batra had earlier said, Gehraiyaan for me is not just a movie. It is a journey into the intricacies of human relationships, it is a mirror into modern adult relationships, how we traverse through the maze of feelings and emotions and how each step, each decision we make affects our lives and the lives of those around us.”
The film has been bankrolled by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. It now releases on February 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
