Get ready to witness the sizzling chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in Liger’s new song Aafat!
The third song from Puri Jagannadh's upcoming movie Liger is finally out. The calming, foot-tapping song, Aafat, features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday sharing a romantic moment on a beach. A few days ago, director Karan Johar published the song's teaser, describing it as "A peek of genuine love, affection, and lunacy!" It certainly isn't "pure love and affection." But it might also be "madness."
Tanishk Bagchi composed the song Aafat, Rashmi Virag wrote the music, and Tanishk and Zahrah Khan sang the songs. As Vijay and Ananya Panday dance on the beach and on the rocks, get cozy in a tiny cave, and are joined by some backing dancers, the music video also makes for an intriguing visual. It features some insane camerawork.
Vijay shared the song on his Instagram and wrote, “Vibe to the most electric song of the year #AAFAT” and his co-star Ananya took the video to her social and added the caption, “The new vibe of the season looks a lot like #AAFAT!” Last month, the film’s first song Akdi Pakdi was released which has been on the top charts and has got fans grooving to it. Followed by Watt Laga Denge which was promoted as a motivational anthem. Both the songs were trending on all the music platforms.
Liger will also mark Vijay Deverakonda’s debut in Bollywood and Ananya Panday’s debut in the South. Both Vijay and Ananya are promoting their film in full swing. Liger is slated to release in theatres on August 25, 2022. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
