Ajay Devgn is basking in the success of Drishyam 2, and many are waiting for his next film, Bholaa and Maidaan. His film Maidaan's release date was adjourned multiple times, and it was supposed to hit the theatres on May 12. But now, it has been delayed again to June 23. Earlier, the film's release date was altered due to technical issues, but now it will be the final release date.
Fans are enthusiastic about coming for Ajay Devgn's next, Bholaa. However, this film will go on floors much earlier than Maidaan. Bholaa is set for a March 30 release, and Maidaan, the sports drama, has been delayed again. A source confirmed that this release will be the final one. A source said, "Maidaan is a prestigious project and warrants a release date that gives it a clean shot at having long legs at the box office. May 12 is a complex date with a constant flow of releases, and hence, the makers are now deciding to release it on June 23, 2023."
The source also confirmed and promised the film's final release date, "The edit of Maidaan will be locked as per the timelines of May 12, but the issue here is not the delay in content delivery, but not a good release period. After scanning through the calendars, the team is now committed to bringing Maidaan on June 23, 2023."
