Here's Why Parineeti Chopra REJECTED Ranbir Kapoor's Animal

As the year 2023 is near its end, several Bollywood movies are set to release in December. One such highly-anticipated film is 'Animal'. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has a stellar cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor. The trailer of the film and three songs have already been released, and thus, building excitement among fans. The fresh pair of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna is also something to look forward to! However, did you know that Rashmika wasn't the first choice of the film? Well, it was Parineeti Chopra who was first offered the film.

Why Parineeti Chopra Rejected Animal Movie?

Parineeti Chopra was supposed to pair opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal'. However, she rejected the film because she had another film in the kitty. Instead of doing Vanga's 'Animal', Parineeti signed Imtiaz Ali's film 'Chamkila'. Let us tell you that 'Chamkila' is a biopic of late Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. The film features Diljit Dosanjh in the lead and is expected to release on Netflix in 2024.

Parineeti Chopra's Statement On Rejecting Animal:

In an interview with India Today, Parineeti said, “These things happen, it is a part and parcel of life. We must make such choices every day. You make the choice that is right for you.”

Parineeti has no regrets of rejecting Animal and is excited about her future projects.

On the personal front, she is enjoying the new phase of her life. Parineeti married politician Raghav Chadha in September this year. Recently, the couple celebrated their first Diwali together.
